Yellow Rose Lutherie is Steve Pollack, an amateur luthier based in Madison, WI.  I’ve been building and selling cigar box instruments for the last 10 years.  These include cigar box ukuleles and cigar box electric guitars.  Additionally I have build solid body lap steel and and in the midst of building a Weissenborn lap guitar. I am self taught, care of the internet and have a natural curiosity about how to make things.  Things have included computers, computer programs, furniture, and now musical instruments.  I play finger-style guitar, lap steel, mandolin and am learning clawhammer banjo.  Chord Calculus, an app for the multi-instrumentalist, is up to over 500 users.  A desktop version is in the works..
